The 1 Campaign

Why?

Jesus left the 99 for the 1.  In other words, as long as the sheep were together, he could go search for the one that is lost.  That's what the 1 Campaign is all about.
In the 21st Century, that ONE we are going after is impacted by technology and community. Therefore, we want our building, online experience, Sunday morning experience, and activities throughout the week to be centered around community.
The top ways to reach the ONE is through our NEXT GEN Ministry (ASM, AvenueKIDS), our online presence (first things people see), and the overall feel of the building we are in for conversations and discipleship to take place.  
As our community continues to grow and MAKE DISCIPLES, we are in a place to finally update the areas to reach the ONE!  That's what THE ONE CAMPAIGN is all about!

Tier 1

New Chairs
650 New chairs for Both Ashland & Ontario Campuses. Our current chairs have been wonderful but are reaching the end of their (long, 20 year) life. It's is time to invest in chairs that will get us through the next 20 years.
Preteen Room
The next generation is so important to us here at Avenue and we want all kids & students to feel like they have a place here! Our upstairs classrooms have gotten a facelift over the last few months and are looking great but the double room for our 4th & 5th graders needs a little extra work.
Storage
With all the ministry and outreach happing at Avenue that comes with a lot of stuff. We are in need of a central storage area to keep things organized and stewarded well. We have a great space for this but it needs some work before it can be utalized.
Kids Area Update
Along with the classroom facelifts and the Preteen room update we also need to work our our common spaces. The boys, girls, & family restrooms need some major work both esthetically and functionally to make them feel clean, safe, and welcoming. Then the classrooms all need new carpet and the lobby area needs some work as well.

Chapel Update
The chapel has been updated recently and looks beautiful! This room is used for many things including Sunday morning kids worship and large group and ASM Night gatherings. We are in need of new lighting and sound that is all connected and intergraded into the same system so that our Avenue Kids and ASM can utilize the room to it's full potential.
Cafe
The Avenue Cafe is the first stop for many regular attenders as well as first time guests. We want this space to scream "you are welcome here!" Our goal is to achieve a more "open" feeling and to encourage more connections in the cafe. This area will also be a great place for meetings, AGroups, and small events.
Stairways
All the stairways in the kids area and office areas of the building have the existing stair treads and they are staring to show their age. We need all new stair treads and some paint.
Worship Center
You have probably seen the new stage by now, which looks awesome! However, this area still needs quite a but of work. We need to update the flooring and get rid of the old stained and weathered carpet. We also need some sound equipment and panels to achieve an even sound in the who space.
Lobby Restrooms
We are in need of some moderate updates esthetically and functionally to make this space feel clean, safe, and welcoming,
Main Lobby
We have a great lobby area in our building and it doesn't need a lot of updating but we do need some wayfinding signage updates for first time visitors and some furniture to create some additional space for connecting outside of the cafe. We will also be enhancing our new here area to help us make a great first impression on "The 1"
