Our Mission

The Gathering is a beautiful community of people that courageously gathers together in the presence of Christ, to experience the transforming power and healing of the Holy Spirit. 

Our Vision 

We want people to feel seen by the love of Jesus in their physical, mental, and spiritual suffering, transformed by the Spirit into the new life that the Father redeems in us.

12 Steps to Recovery 

Step 1
We admitted and acknowledged that we are not good on our own. We desire to do good but cannot without Christ. (Romans 7:18)
Step 2
We came to believe that Jesus Christ can restore us to a sound mind. (Romans 12:2)
Step 3
We surrendered our whole lives to Jesus Christ. (Romans 12:1)
Step 4
We asked God to search our hearts and show us the things that are not like Him. (Psalms 139:23-24)
Step 5
We admitted our sins to God, ourselves and to someone we trust. (James 5:16)
Step 6
We’ve prepared to open ourselves up to God to allow Him to remove the things that are not like Him. (James 4:10)
Step 7
We have asked God to remove the things that are not like Him. (1 John 1:9)
Step 8
We’ve identified those we’ve hurt and opened ourselves up to make amends. (Luke 6:31)
Step 9
We’ve made amends to all those we’ve hurt, unless when doing so would harm them or others. (Matthew 5:23-24)
Step 10
We continuously ask God to search our hearts and show us the things that are not like Him. (1 Corinthians 10:12)
Step 11
Daily, we pray to God for direction and the power to follow His will. (Colossians 3:16)
Step 12
After finding freedom and restoration, we share the gospel of Jesus and recovery with others. (Galatians 6:1)
