Deuteronomy 29

Devotional:
“The Lord our God has secrets known to no one. We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms of these instructions. (Deuteronomy 29:29)

The LORD commands His children to stop talking about what we do not know and start acting on what we do know! While there is definitely much that we don’t know, we also have so much to be thankful for and can act on. Imagine the impact on our families, friends, church, and communities if we would do that. Do you spend your time wondering about things that we will never know, or are you living fully into what you already know?
Pray it:
Father, help me to accept the limitations of your revelation to me and to embrace the things that you have revealed instead of wondering about things that I do not know (and likely would not be able to understand!). I praise you for what you have revealed and concealed in your infinite and loving wisdom. Amen.
