2 Samuel 22
Devotional:
“God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. (2 Samuel 22:31)
David’s song captures his gratitude for the Lord’s deliverance and countless blessings. It is believed to have been written after he had ascended the throne but before his moral downfall. David’s song is practically identical to Psalm 18 with minor variations. David’s beautiful imagery shows us the central role the Lord held in his life. David reminds us that God is always just, and He is true to His character. What song does your heart sing to the Lord?

Pray it:
Father, I praise you for your perfect words and for your perfect work in my life. Thank you for being my protection and refuge at all times, just as you were to David. Amen.
