2 Thessalonians 1
Devotional:
We proudly tell God’s other churches about your endurance and faithfulness in all the persecutions and hardships you are suffering. (2 Thessalonians 1:4)
Life can be difficult at times, and it might be tempting to seek comfort from the world instead of from God. But when our faith stands strong and steadfast through trials, it is a reason for boasting. Not boasting to bring attention to ourselves but to point to a God who can sustain even through the most damaging storms. Jesus is enough no matter what we may face in this life. Tell someone about what God has done in your life today!

Father, I confess that I am tempted to boast about my own strength and achievements. Help me to instead boast about your grace and power at work in my life that is made clear in the moments of my weakness and how it shows the truth of your Word and your presence in this world. Amen.
