Luke 18
Devotional:
Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? (Luke 18:7)
God wants us to pray to Him. He wants us to pester Him with prayers. He longs to hear from His children, and He hears us when we cry out to Him. Jesus encourages us to pray continually and not to lose heart when our prayers aren’t immediately answered. He assures us that God is listening and responding even when it doesn’t feel that way. We have a good Father, and He hears your every prayer. Cry out to Him day and night – He is listening and He won’t delay!

Pray it:
Father, I confess that I often lose heart when I pray or fail to pray because I don’t think you want to or will hear me. Help me to remember that you are delighted when I turn to you and that I can never pray to you too much. Amen.
