Exodus 26
Devotional:
“Set up this Tabernacle according to the pattern you were shown on the mountain. (Exodus 26:30).
As the preparation of the place where God will meet His people continues through the instructions for the Tabernacle (a movable place of worship), it is important to again see that God is a God of order. What a joy to know that He has a purpose and a plan for us; He doesn’t just say, “Create whatever you want.” What a joy to know He has a purpose and a plan for all areas of our lives, that He is involved and cares about the details! May we be open to those purposes and plans and seek His face first when we have a question about those things.

Father, I am thankful that you are a “God of the details,” that there is no situation too small for you to care about and also no area of this world or my life that you are not involved with. Help me to find you in all the details in my life and to pay careful attention to the details of your commands so that I may best honor and glorify you. Amen.
