Exodus 39
Devotional:
This is an inventory of the materials used in building the Tabernacle of the Covenant. The Levites compiled the figures, as Moses directed, and Ithamar son of Aaron the priest served as recorder. Bezalel son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made everything just as the Lord had commanded Moses. He was assisted by Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, a craftsman expert at engraving, designing, and embroidering with blue, purple, and scarlet thread on fine linen cloth. (Exodus 38:21-23).
The construction of the tabernacle wasn’t a one-person job. It required the whole people of God working together. From their donations to the specific tasks each one took on, it was greater than one person. Today, we are still better together when everyone is a part of the project. May we examine our lives to make sure we are living into where God has called us and work together for the glory of God.

Pray it:
Father, I thank you for the gifts of my sisters and brothers in the faith. Help me to use the gifts you have given me to serve them and to receive their service so that I might know you more and become more like Christ. May we mold to the world this truth that we are better together. Amen.
