Leviticus 8
Devotional:
Then he presented Aaron and his sons and washed them with water. (Leviticus 8:6)
Aaron and his sons did not wash themselves; Moses was the one who washed them. We can’t always see our own dirt (sin) and need others to point it out for us. Are you willing to allow others to speak into your life and point out the messy areas? Are you willing to allow the Holy Spirit to bring you forward to be washed? Who are some fellow believers you can trust to walk with you in grace and grow? Invite them and the Holy Spirit into your life to clean those hard-to-find areas such as self-pride, bitterness, anger, jealousy or anything else that stands in the way of becoming the person God intended you to be.

Pray it:
Father, thank you for placing others in my life who are able to show me sin in my life that I might not see. Help me to listen to their words (and not be defensive) so that I might both turn from such sin and also experience the forgiveness you offer me now for these sins. Amen.
