Proverbs 2
Devotional:
My child, listen to what I say, and treasure my commands. Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God. (Proverbs 2:1-5).
There is true value in the wisdom of the Lord. We are to search for and seek after the wisdom of the Lord. Knowledge of this wisdom will keep us safe and bring an abundance of joy into our lives. Knowledge of God and real fear of the Lord will shield and protect us from the evils of this life. We will then learn how to walk uprightly, keeping our feet on the paths of righteousness. It is not enough to know what the knowledge of God can do — we need to be committed to seeking it out.

Pray it:
God, open my eyes and ears to what you are doing and speaking into my life. Help me to be diligent in my time with you, to truly wrestle with the words you place on my heart and mind. Reveal to me your wisdom so I may use it to glorify your name. Amen.
