Proverbs 7
Devotional:
Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and to insight, “You are my relative.” They will keep you from the adulterous woman, from the wayward woman with her seductive words. (Proverbs 7:4-5).
Solomon wanted his son to have a living and breathing relationship with the Lord. We need the same thing — not only in our minds, but in our hearts. It should center the way we live. The power of wisdom should be like your relationship with your sister (or brother). We should love God’s wisdom and practice it in this fashion. Would you be able to say that wisdom is your sibling?

Pray it:
Lord, I value and desire your wisdom and guidance through my day to day. I don’t want my relationship with you to be dull and boring but alive and active such as the interaction I have with my closest friends. May you and your wisdom become close intimate friends to me. Amen.
