Psalms 35
Devotional:
But give great joy to those who came to my defense.
Let them continually say, “Great is the Lord,
who delights in blessing his servant with peace!” (Psalm 35:27).
When God makes you righteous and shows concern for your well-being, how do you want people to respond? Some might congratulate you and celebrate with high-fives what they see as your good fortune. But David reminds us to call others to join in praising God for His work in our lives and for those who delight in His righteousness and provision to say, “The LORD be exalted. He takes pleasure in his servant’s well-being.” Let us call others – even those who do not yet believe in God – to join us in celebrating what God has done in us and for us! That calls for high-fives all around – ending with hands and voices lifted in praise to God.

Pray it:
Father, help my tongue to proclaim your righteousness and praise this day, as you have shown great care for me and incredible faithfulness to your people. May my praises of you point others to you to experience and acknowledge your goodness. Amen.
