Genesis 39

Devotional:
The warden had no more worries, because Joseph took care of everything. The Lord was with him and caused everything he did to succeed. (Genesis 39:23 NLT)  

Nothing can stand in the way of God’s blessings. Circumstances can and will knock us down, but God builds us up and sets us back on the right track. Joseph was cast out by his brothers, sold into slavery, and locked up in jail. Yet, God used each of these circumstances to draw Joseph closer to Him and fulfill His plan of redemption! Like Joseph, you are God’s chosen child, a recipient of His blessings. Wherever you are in life, whether struck down or lifted up, remind yourself that God is at work in all situations and nothing can thwart Him.   

Pray it:
Father, help me know that you are present and active regardless of my circumstances. May I see every situation that I may find myself in as a place in which I can find you and be used by you. Amen.
