Romans 2
Devotional:
For merely listening to the law doesn’t make us right with God. It is obeying the law that makes us right in his sight. (Romans 2:13)
In the last chapter we learned that God reveals Himself through faith. But God doesn’t expect faith to terminate on itself; He wants us to act on it. Faith needs to be more than just something that gets in our heads. It needs to be something that moves our hearts so it can move our hands. There is nothing we can do to earn God’s favor, but our actions can and should reflect that our faith goes beyond our ears. Let your faith move you from a ‘hearer’ to ‘doer’ today.

Pray it:
Father, help me be a ‘doer’ of the faith and show me a place where I need to put my faith into action in a new way. Amen.
