Leviticus 26
Devotional:
For their sakes I will remember my ancient covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of all the nations, that I might be their God. I am the Lord.” (Leviticus 26:45)
This chapter speaks of the blessings of obedience to God’s statutes and the punishments for disobedience. God is a just God, and He made that known very early to the people of Israel. God knew they would have seasons of disobedience, but He promised to remain faithful to them, not forgetting the covenant He made with them. Praise God for His faithfulness in the face of our unfaithfulness! Reflect on how God has been faithful recently. God loves you and desires you to be well and find peace. May we remember what He has done for us and stand in awe of Him being Lord of all.

Pray it:
Father, I praise you for being a faithful God to unfaithful people like me. Turn my eyes from the worthless things that I place before you and help me to instead walk in your ways and enjoy the blessing found in your presence. Amen.
