Exodus 34

Devotional:
When Moses came down Mount Sinai carrying the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, he wasn’t aware that his face had become radiant because he had spoken to the Lord. (Exodus 34:29).

The people had rebelled against God, but God again renewed His covenant, giving Moses new tablets and reminding the people of the special covenant He made with them and the way they should respond to His grace to them. When Moses comes to the people in order to convey what God said, his face glows because he has been with God. Does your face glow because you’ve been with God? Would people interacting with you know that you’ve been with God? May there be a glow in our face and in our spirits because we spend time with our God!

Pray it:
Father, may the time I spend with you this day impact me in such a way that others know that I have been in your presence. May your work in my life lead others to be drawn to seek and know you more. Amen.
