Proverbs 3
Devotional:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6).
It’s natural for us to put our trust in something. Solomon advises us to place our trust in the Lord and to trust Him completely. This means total trust in the Lord, not splitting that trust between ourselves, our best friends, and some other current bright hope in our lives. This trust also means that if we honor and acknowledge the Lord in all things, He will direct our paths in the fulfillment of His will, into what is right before Him, and what can be pleasing to us. Where do you place your trust today? Where is this trust taking you?

Pray it:
God, forgive me for leaning on myself and choosing my own, selfish ways. Help me trust in your word and not go beyond your boundaries. Keep me close by your side and let your word guide my steps so that I might walk in your way. Amen.
