Luke 8
Devotional:
“No, go back to your family, and tell them everything God has done for you.” So he went all through the town proclaiming the great things Jesus had done for him. (Luke 8:39)
All of us have sinned and missed the mark of who God has called us to be. We carry with us a past filled with shame that can shape a future filled with doubt and fear. But when Jesus takes a hold of our lives, he redirects it toward his goodness and power. We are not called to hide who we were. We are called to declare who we are because of the victory Jesus has even over the darkest moments of our past. Take hold of the redeeming power of Jesus and share it with those around you.

Pray it:
Jesus, thank you for the way you have rescued me from my darkness and for the new life that you give through your power. Lead me to declare to others how much you have done for me. Amen.
